The Coalition for the Israeli Golan is a non-partisan, Israeli NGO, founded in 2017 to promote international recognition of Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights.
Domestically, the Coalition encourages the Israeli government and decision makers to adopt a twofold national agenda: Obtaining international recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, and promoting the significant expansion of the Golan’s population and investment in infrastructure. These, in the view of the Coalition, should be adopted as a first tier national mission.
Internationally, the Coalition educates decision makers on the regional advantages of recognizing Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights. Additionally, the Coalition works to remove from the agenda any possibility of an Israeli withdrawal from the Golan Heights.
The Coalition views public dialog and opinion as an essential instrument for promoting its goals. Therefore, the Coalition makes available important and instructive information regarding Israel and the international interests in supporting Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights. In addition to its various online platforms, the Coalition publishes reports, and organizes conferences, and tours in the Golan Heights.
